OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY AT CEDERBERG RIDGE

We are inspired by our natural surroundings at Cederberg Ridge - the smells, textures and tastes of the Cederberg. 
From farm to table, or rather 'Berg to Plate', our food incorporates fresh farmed produce from the area, local flavours and unique cooking techniques.

Plus we're also all about homemade goodness (and goodies)! From freshly baked breads, croissants and danish pastries, to sausages, macaroons and gelato, our chef creates homemade, fresh food on a daily basis.

You can expect a seasonally changing menu with a choice of starters, mains and dessert. As we are small and personal, we try to cater for special diet needs. So there are always two vegetarian dishes on offer at dinner, and we can easily cater for vegans and other dietary requirements.

Continental Breakfast
Homemade croissants, pastries, jams and fruits from our farm, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit consol jars and cold meats and cheeses.

Choice of Breads 
Sourdough, farm style white, whole wheat or croissants. All with a variety of local homemade jams and marmelades.

Hot Breakfast 
A selection of three cooked options plus always a Daily Special. It could be smoked salmon bowls with soft poached eggs or Japanese soufflé pancakes...

Try local delicacies like Skilpadjies cooked in a spicy tomato sauce, or homemade Teriyaki pork pot stickers, butternut arancini or confit chicken wings. 

Main Course 
Mains may be a perfectly cooked eland wellington, beef fillet or braised pork neck, or ricotta, pine nut and spinach cannelloni, or sous vide chicken breast .

Dessert
Typical desserts may be delicious pecan pie, spiced pumpkin gelato, churros con chocola with dark chocolate, orange and chilli ganache, or dark chocolate & cherry soufflé.

Please note: Dinner reservations for the public must be made 24 hours prior. No walk-ins will be accepted as food is freshly prepared and homemade daily.
