Muissbosskerm beach restaurant on west coast visit from Cederberg Wilderness Lodge
Muisbosskerm is an open air beach restaurant on the West Coast near Lamberts Bay.

It is probably the best example of alfresco west coast hospitality with an array of seafood on offer, as well as delicious home-made bread, crayfish and paela. It is known for its sea food but if that's not your favourite, the seafood buffet is followed by a selection of meat dishes including a tradtional South African potjie (a stew cooked in an iron pot over an open fire).

We include lunch at Muisbosskerm as part of a guided excursion to the West Coast which we do every few days in the summer months. But if your timing doesn't match our programme, it is easy to visit on a self-drive basis.
